Refunds & Cancellations

Last updated 11 June 2026

How refunds, cancellations, and platform fees work across Ladill, including payments you make and payments you receive.

1. Overview

Ladill offers several products, and the refund treatment depends on what you bought. This policy explains the general rules. Specific products may set additional terms at the point of purchase, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

2. Payments you receive from your customers

When you use Ladill to accept payments, donations, or ticket sales, Ladill acts as a technology and payment-facilitation provider. You — the merchant or organiser — are responsible for the goods, services, or events you provide and for honouring refunds to your customers in line with your own refund policy and applicable law. You can issue refunds to your customers from your dashboard where supported. Platform fees already charged on a transaction may be non-refundable.

3. Platform fees

Platform fees are charged on transactions as disclosed before you transact. Fees are generally non-refundable once a transaction has been processed, except where required by law or where we have made an error.

4. Subscriptions and renewable products

  • Plans and subscriptions: you can cancel future renewals at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law.
  • Domains: domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are generally non-refundable once submitted to the registry, because the registry charge is incurred immediately.
  • Hosting and email: these may be eligible for a pro-rated or limited refund only where expressly stated at purchase; set-up fees and used periods are non-refundable.
  • Wallet top-ups: amounts you add to your wallet can be used for Services or withdrawn (subject to verification); processing fees are non-refundable.

5. Purchases made through app stores

If you purchased a subscription or item through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is processed by the store and is subject to the store’s refund policy. Refund requests for those purchases must be made through Apple or Google.

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund or report a billing issue, contact Ladill at hello@ladill.com with your account email and the transaction reference. We aim to review requests promptly and will let you know the outcome.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will update the “Last updated” date when we do.
