Place your payment QR where customers can scan it easily at the counter.
Your Mini payment QR is the payment point for your shop, counter, or service desk. A customer scans it with their phone to begin a mobile-money or card payment.
Put it where it is easy to scan
- Display the QR at eye level on the counter, in a stand, or on a screen facing the customer.
- Keep enough clear space around the code so a phone camera can recognise it quickly.
- Make sure lighting is good and the code is not scratched, folded, covered, or cropped.
Make the instruction clear
- Add a short sign, such as “Scan to pay with mobile money or card”.
- Keep the QR visible from the customer’s side of the counter.
- Ask staff to point customers to the QR instead of passing them a personal number to pay.
Before you start trading
Scan the QR yourself to make sure it opens the right payment page and shows your business clearly. Repeat this quick check whenever you move the stand, replace a printout, or open a new till.
