Ladill Privacy Policy

At Ladill, your trust is foundational to our mission of building a safe, inspiring, and faith-centered community. This Privacy Policy explains — in clear, transparent language — how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Ladill Platform (including our website, mobile apps, browser extensions, and related services).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), LGPD (Brazil), and other global standards.


1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Ladill Platform, whether you’re browsing as a guest, creating an account, posting testimonies, joining prayer circles, or engaging in live sessions.

By using Ladill, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

We never sell your personal data. We only collect what’s necessary to deliver a meaningful, secure, and personalized experience.


2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways:

We never share sensitive religious data (e.g., prayer requests, faith journey details) without explicit consent.


6. Data Security

We take industry-standard measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption at rest (AES-256)
  • Secure data centers with 24/7 monitoring
  • Access controls (least privilege, 2FA for staff)
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Incident response plan

However, no system is 100% secure. By using Ladill, you acknowledge that you transmit and store data at your own risk.

If we detect a breach, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.


7. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed:

When you delete your account:

  1. Your profile, posts, and messages are permanently deleted within 30 days.
  2. Backups are erased within 90 days.
  3. Some anonymized data may remain for safety/analytics.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You have full control over your data. Depending on your location, you may:

To make a request: Email privacy@ladill.com with your full name, account email, and request details. We’ll respond within 30 days (or 45 with notice).


9. Children’s Privacy

Ladill is not intended for children under 13.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
  • If we learn a user is under 13, we will delete their account and data immediately.
  • Parents: If your child has used Ladill, contact privacy@ladill.com to request deletion.

We comply with COPPA (U.S.) and similar laws worldwide.


10. International Data Transfers

Ladill operates globally. Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries.

We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other approved mechanisms to ensure your data is protected to the same standard, no matter where it’s stored.


11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

  • New features
  • Legal changes
  • Community feedback

How You’ll Be Notified:

  1. Updated policy posted at ladill.com/privacy
  2. “Last Updated” date changed
  3. In-app banner or email for material changes

Continued use = acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using Ladill and delete your account.

13. Additional Notices

CCPA Notice (California Residents)

  • You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” of personal information.
  • We do not sell your data as defined by CCPA.
  • Submit requests via privacy@ladill.com.

GDPR Notice (EU/UK Residents)

  • Legal Bases: We process data based on consent, contract, or legitimate interest.
  • You may lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
